Now that the truth has come out on Claire Bennet's death and the birth of her twins, the mission of saving the world now lies on the hands of Tommy and Malina. But before they can accomplish their mission, they must know the truth on who they really are. In "Heroes Reborn" Episode 9 entitled "Sundae, Bloody Sundae", Tommy will learn from Anne and Hiro about his destiny to save humankind. Meanwhile, Quentin Frady becomes a villain who will work for Erica Kravid.
In the promo video for Episode 9 entitled "Sundae, Bloody Sundae", Anne Clark is about to reveal the truth to Tommy. In the video posted by Comic Book Movie, Anne tells Tommy "you are ready for me to tell you about who you are." This illustrates the beginning of Tommy's mission to save the world as he begins to understand his destiny. Tommy also comes face-to-face with his stepfather Hiro Nakamura and it seems that Tommy is not at all happy with the truth.
Tommy has tried to live a normal life and win the heart of Emily Duval, who is the girl of his dreams. Emily works as a waitress in a restaurant and as fate has it, Joanne Collins unfortunately finds her. In a recap post on Buddy TV, Joanne and Luke Collins found the body of their son back on June 13th and "this heartbreaking scene doesn't excuse Joann's crazy evil and over-the-top performance in the future, but it does help."
Meanwhile, Quentin Frady becomes a traitor who will bring the twins to Erica Kravid through Noah Bennet. According to the recap of Entertainment Weekly on the previous episode, Erica flips the table on Quentin after he threatened to kill her if she doesn't tell him where his sister, Phoebe, was. The blackmail done by Erica on Quentin will not do any good for the twins in the future.
"Heroes Reborn" is now on its midseason and in the final weeks, viewers will see more on Tommy and Malina and how they are going to save the world. The series airs every Thursday at 8pm on NBC.
