Marvel's mightiest heroes are set to face a cunning enemy in the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War Part 1. New plot rumors suggest that Loki might team up with Thanos while Vision is also heavily speculated to be MCU's Adam Warlock.
Thanos is determined to gather all Infinity gems for his greater evil plans however, as reported by Yibada, he might not be alone in pursuing his goal Loki might eventually join him. It can remembered that Thanos previously teamed up with Loki to get his hands on the Tesseract. However, Loki failed the mission, and the gem was taken back to Asgard.
However, in the last Thor movie, Loki was seen taking over the land while posing as Odin. This could reportedly cause Thanos to use Loki once again to get the gem. Furthermore, as reported by Realty Today, another plot rumors suggest that Vision could serve as MCU's Adam Warlock.
While some may still be anticipating Adam Warlock's appearance in the MCU, especially with his big role in the fight against Thanos in the comics, it is heavily speculated that Vision might take his place instead as he is rumored to go to the outer space.
Vision is rumored to appear in Thor: Ragnarok as well as in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 which would be the actuality of what James Gunn previously teased about the meeting of the Guardians with one of the Avengers. His depature from the planet will also enable the franchise to expand further as Scarlet Witch could explore on MCU's mystical side and might even work along with Doctor Strange.
Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and 2 is also rumored to be a big investment for Marvel as it is rumored to be slated for a $1 billion budget. However, given that script and plot are also not fully laid out yet, Comicbook stated that the amount could be an estimate for now.
Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 is set to be directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It will be written by Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus, and to be produced by Kevin Feige. More details are expected to be revealed as the project nears its May 04, 2018 release date.
