KPop girl group 2ne1 has been on indefinite hiatus for about over a year now. But they're not just slacking off and spending all the money they have here and there. Each member has been busy with their own lives and in creating their own path and identity.
First member to follow up on is Park Bom. After her drug scandal last year, it seems like she's disappeared off the face of the planet. There has been no updates about where she is, what she's up to or who she's with. That is until 2 weeks ago, when she was spotted leaving YG entertainment's building as reported by AllKPop. This gave fans hope that maybe she's still active in YG and there's still a huge chance that 2ne1 will come back soon. Up until now, there are no confirmed reports that what the fans are hoping for are true.
Next on the list is Chaelin Lee or better known as CL. Like any other group of fans, 2ne1 fans are always looking around for every new information. Just recently, it was reported that CL is dating fellow KPop artist Mino from 'WINNER'. Photos of them started to circle the internet. Many started to believe it until YG shut down the idea once and for all by confirming through a word with Inquisitr that the photos that went around were photoshopped and not real. So, that's it for the two of them. But fans are still holding on that maybe someday, the manipulated photos can become a reality. Who knows?
Another member who kept herself busy is Sandara Park, also known as Dara. Aside from being a judge on 'Sugarman', she has opened the door to acting and is now a part of the ongoing web drama, "Missing Korea." According to Movie News Guide, she will be portraying an average North Korean worker who will end up as a contestant in the 1st Unified Miss Korea Competition. This drama is sure to touch the heart of anyone who will see it so watch out.
Last but not the least, Minzy. She is probably the most relaxed among all the members. There's no drama surrounding her at all. All she's focused on now is her own dance academy called Millenium Dance Academy that is set to train young aspiring dancers who want to be in the entertainment industry.
Even if these four are technically on different pages at the moment, every fan is still patiently waiting for 2ne1's much awaited comeback. Though everyone sees that they're growing in the paths that they chose individually, many are still hoping that they'll come back to music soon enough.
