The season 5 of "Once Upon a Time" has hit the limelight with much juice and thrills. The latest episode 7 showcases the possibility of one persona to ultimately destroy the fearful Dark One. Nimue is said to have the key to kill the villain.
As for the name of that character, many names have sufficed. One particular character is Nimue. For those that are not followers of this hit TV series, "Nimue is most commonly known as the Lady of the Lake in Arthurian Legend and in "Once Upon a Time", Nimue, however, is said to hold the key to possibly stop The Dark One's plans, writes Realty Today. The same site further added that the mysterious character is also detrimental to the forging of Excalibur and the Dark One's dagger."
The episodes are getting deeper and deeper, making the fans unaware of what will happen next. An article released by The International Business Times has talked about that a flashback that will be elemental to the story, and will revolve around Merlin's younger years. The same post disclosed, "In the next episode, it will tell the history of where the wizard got his powers and immortality." The articled further revealed that Merlin fell in love with Nimue, and their relationship will transform everything.
The summary of the episode also taunted about how their relationship will influence the lives of the present-day characters of Storybrook. The Christian Post reported that, "Merlin spearheads a mission to reunite the dagger with Excalibur so he can use the weapon to save Emma from the darkness threatening her soul."
Also, the episodes revealed by the same article shows Hook, Mary Margaret, David, Regina and Robin steal into Arthur's castle to take the broken sword from the maniacal king while Merlin tags Emma along on a quest to confront his ancient nemesis and recover the sacred spark that he will need to reforge Excalibur."
