Beyoncé allegedly requested to have a duet with the British singer, Adele, but was reportedly declined on her request. A collaboration between the two is now unlikely to happen.
Yahoo Celebrity News reports that Beyoncé has allegedly been requesting to collaborate with Adele for over a year now. Beyoncé reportedly went into the studio with Adele and tried to convince her to join forces on a track late last year. However, Adele has been consistently declining the offer which has led to Beyoncé putting the song on her own album instead. Her new album is set to be released by the end of this year. Adele on the other hand, has a new album that is scheduled to be sold in stores on November 20. She recently released her new single entitled "Hello".
Adele said that she does not like being entangled in fame, explaining her reasons for declining Beyoncé's offer to collaborate. According to International Business Times, she's frightened of the fame that might destroy her at some point and would ruin her. She explains how she does not want to get lost among the likes of being famous, and frightened for the people that she loves when she gets lost in the midst of fame. She looks at fame as something toxic, fearing of not getting out of it. She feels well already given where she stands right now.
Adele's music promotes itself in its own way. She doesn't need to collaborate or join forces with someone famous or superstars to promote her album. Unreality TV reports, that Adele worked with Damon Albam for her new album and even collaborated on a few songs, but allegedly declined Beyoncé when she offered. Beyoncé definitely does not need Adele to promote her album but is genuinely interested in working with her.
Adele and Beyoncé are separately already famous on where they stand right now. However, a collaboration would definitely sound interesting for their fans.
