'Mortal Kombat X' Update: Klassic Goro, Noob Saibot Skins In New Mods Revealed; DLC Kombat Pack 2 Playable Characters To Include Spawn, Wolverine and More

Ever since NetherRealm Studios confirmed that the popular "Mortal Kombat X" will be receiving an expansion, rumors have found their way online. Now, the game's new mods are set to bring klassic Goro and Noob Saibot skins. And not just, interestingly enough, there are speculations that Wolverine and Spawn might be playable characters in the game's upcoming DLC 'Kombat Pack 2'.

According to Latin Post, some PC owners were able to create some mods that allow players to experience klassic characters in "Mortal Kombat X." Just by downloading two small files, gamers of the game's PC version will be able to play as Goro from the original "Mortal Kombat" game as well as Noob Saibot.

A YouTube user named Dynasty reportedly showed the mods' workaround. The said files were believed to have been posted on the "Mortal Kombat" Secrets forums days ago, but thanks to the user's video, the mods have been made more visible with over 34, 000 views.

Meanwhile, the Chicago-based video game developer NetherRealm has since confirmed that "Mortal Kombat X" will be debut a second Kombat Pack that will include four additional DLC characters. Christian Today reported that the forthcoming pack might include characters like Rain, Sindel, and Baraka. In addition, there were rumors about Spawn making its way into the latest "Mortal Kombat" franchise. This is most especially that Image Comic's Todd McFarlane allowed NetherRealm to use the said character.

Yibada, on the other hand, noted that game creator Ed Boon posted a silhouette of the upcoming "Mortal Kombat" DLC. Based on that, many could reportedly make out a Wolverine figure; hence suggesting that this could possibly be one of the characters included in the lineup.

So far, it's safe to say that NetherRealm is indeed planning for a new content for the upcoming "Mortal Kombat X" DLC. And despite being unconfirmed, gamers can definitely enjoy characters such Rain, Sindel, Baraka, Spawn, and, of course, Wolverine.
