The heavily rumored iPad Pro is expected to be available on November 11 but there are talks that it will be launched on November 13 instead. With these, Apple is said to allow pre-ordering of the handset starting today, November 9 .
According to AppleInsider, the iPad Pro launch on November 13 also aligns with details heard by keyboard maker Pozible; claiming to acquire this information from China's reseller network. It was reported that iPad Pro units will begin arriving next Wednesday, November 11, but resellers have been told to not start selling the units to the customers until Friday. Now, retail chain Sam's Club is claiming that the rollout delay paved way for the pre-order to commence.
For those who are unfamiliar, Christian Today cited the expected features that the iPad Pro would sport. This device weighs only 1.57 pounds and measures 12 x 8.68 x 0.27 inches, showing its lightweight and portable despite its 12.9-inch display that has a Retina feature with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels.
The iPad Pro run on A9X 64-bit processor and is packed with 4 GB RAM. It has two varieties, the 32 GB and 128 GB internal storage options. This tablet will also sport the Touch ID and will be armored with an 8-megapixel iSight main camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera. This upcoming version of iPad will be joined by the Apple Pencil and Smart Keyboard on its release.
The Apple Pencil sports a pressure-sensitive stylus that allows the creation of fine or thick strokes on the tablet. It has a 12-hour battery life and with its Lightning connector, the pencil can recharge when plugged into the tablet's charging port.
On the other hand, the Smart Keyboard is attached to the tablet and can be used by simply unfolding it. If not in use, the keyboard can act as a protective casing for the tablet. Apple added that the keyboard not only sports an elegant design but also durablity to accommodate daily usage.
As for the price, iDigitalTimes stated that the suggested retail prices start at $799 for the 32-gigabyte model, $949 for a 128-gigabyte version, and $1,079 for 128 gigabytes with LTE connectivity. Apple Pencil cost $99 while the Smart Keyboard can be purchesed for $169.
These are just merely speculations though, and tech enthusiasts who are interesed are still advised to wait for Apple's official announcement.
