The first trailers for "Better Call Saul" Season 2 have been released by AMC and it shows Bob Odendirk's Jimmy McGill deciding to be Saul Goodman. The teaser trailer also confirmed that the show is coming back by 2016.
According to Den of Geek, the AMC spin-off series that is centered on Jimmy McGill before he becomes Saul Goodman, will be showing in the second season the reason why he chooses to be his alter ego. In Season one of "Better Call Saul," the central character was not doing well and it is yet to be seen if he could turn his life around in the show's upcoming episodes.
In a report by Christian Today, the first promo trailer showed Jimmy thinking about a lot of things. There are voices in his head in which sound bites from the first season of "Better Call Saul" could be heard. Some of the sound bites featured McGill's conversation with his elder brother Chuck, who is more successful than him. He is heard downplaying McGill's abilities as a lawyer.
Towards the end of the video, McGill is heard thinking, "We'll, you know what? It's never stopping me again." This might be the signal that he will be turning into his alter ego, Saul Goodman, who is one of the favorite characters on the show "Breaking Bad."
For the second trailer, entitled "Dolla," this highlights events form the first season including McGill struggling to find a client for his small law firm. It also showed the $1.6 million he handed over to police officials when he found a bag.
Collider also shared that "Better Call Saul" Season 2 could shed some light on how Saul Goodman got involved with fan favorites Walter White and Gus.
"Better Call Saul" Season 2 first trailers have been released and it showed how Jimmy McGill has been undermined and unsuccessful in the first season. This could push him to be his alter ego Saul Goodman. The series will be premiering sometime in 2016.
