"Better Call Saul" won the Outstanding New Program during the Television Critics Association Awards held at Beverly Hills. The AMC show is currently filming Season 2 and it will feature Jimmy McGill slowly turning into Saul Goodman.

According to Entertainment Weekly, "Better Call Saul" won alongside other shows such as "The Late Show With David Letterman," "Empire," "The Chair," "The Fosters," "The Americans," and many more. Amy Schumer and Jon Hamm were also big winners as individual awards were presented to them.

"Better Call Saul" Season 2 will be treating the fans of the show with the evolution of McGill into a villain. This was revealed after first set photos were released by the network on the official Facebook page of the show. Peter Gould, one of the executive producers of the show, said in a statement that Season 2 will be looking at how close McGill is in becoming the guy that people loved in the show "Breaking Bad," International Business Times reported.

Peter Gould added, "Jimmy McGill is somebody I love and root for, and it makes me a little sad and worried to see how he's going to evolve into this other person. It makes me wonder if I know everything about Saul Goodman, as he appeared on Breaking Bad." It remains to be seen if the fans of the show will still love Saul Goodman after they see what the challenges Jimmy McGill had to go through in order to be the lawyer that everyone knows.

According to Fansided, the show is up for lots of Emmy Nominations such as Outstanding Drama Series. Bob Odenkirk and Jonathan Banks are also up for recognitions regarding their acting performances.

Will you still love Saul Goodman after you know more about his background? "Better Call Saul" is expected to be back early 2016.
