Oprah Winfrey recently defended the Kardashian clan after they were slammed by comedian Rebel Wilson for being 'untalented.' The 61-year-old media mogul expressed her thoughts on the situation, saying how hard working the Kardashians are and people simply don't know it.
According to a report from Just Jared, Kim Kardashian was seen on Monday afternoon, November 9th, enjoying lunch with close friend Jonathan Cheban. The friends were spotted in Beverly Hills California just days after comedian Rebel Wilson slammed the Kardashians, especially Kim, for being 'untalented.' However, friend of the family and the popular and much loved Oprah Winfrey straight away came to Kim and her family's defense during an interview on KissFM's 'Kyle and Jackie Show.'
Vanity Fair reported that it was on the same day Kim was spotted out and about, that Oprah opened up in the interview on how hardworking and talented the famous family is, stating that it's not as easy as people think. Oprah explained, "I interviewed the Kardashians two years ago and I can't believe how hard they work... People don't understand that. People think, 'Oh, if a television camera's just following you, then that's just easy.' To really create a reality series that looks like something's actually happening, it means you have to be on all the time."
Apparently, Rebel Wilson refused to present an award at the MTV VMAs alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner. The comedian voiced out her opinion on the Kardashian Jenner clan, saying she feels that the two Jenner siblings, alongside their older sisters are simply 'famous for no talent' and 'seem a bit superficial.'
Oprah also added what it was like interviewing the family while they were taping their famous 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' show and said, "We were there for seven hours filming them and they were going to tape for another seven hours afterwards...That is work, no matter who you are," as reported by the Daily Mail UK.
Despite being bashed by Rebel Wilson and many others, the Kardashian Jenner family have always stood together and have kept their heads up high. Having someone so influential like Oprah Winfrey defend them, and even express how hardworking the family is, is something that may just make fans and non fans understand what it's really like for the Kardashian Jenner family.
