Just as fans of "Sister Wives" Season 6 thought that Meri Brown's catfishing scandal will not be tackled this season, a promo teases that she will be revealing everything about the scandal that made headlines in October in next week's season finale.
While at the Browns' family trip in Alaska, Meri sits down with Kody Brown and her other sister wives to divulge what really happened with her online affair. Hollywoodlife reports that her family is so stunned and were left in tears that something like that can happen to her.
Meri can be seen sobbing the whole time during the promo for the episode titled "Meri Catfished". "They don't know what I brought into this family," a distressed Meri tells viewers in the promo that aired at the end of last week's episode.
According to Christian Post, Meri revealed in a previous interview that the online affair begun during an especially emotional and vulnerable time early this year. She insisted that she has never met the person who turned out be not who he said he was. "I started talking to this person online. He was just saying all the right things," she shares to the others.
In the end and as expected, Meri found support in her family through the difficult time although her confession rocked Kody. "It's weird, some of the words she's saying. It sounds like she's leaving," he says.
Meanwhile, IB Times reports that the synopsis for "Sister Wives" Season 6 finale reveals another surprise by Maddie's boyfriend Caleb. After going out on a double date with Logan and Michelle, Caleb asks Kody for a private talk about Maddie.
Kody relates in the confessional that he noted how Caleb got nervous once their conversation started. Could Caleb be asking for Kody's permission to marry his daughter? It could be remembered that Maddie told her family that she and Caleb were engaged in an episode last month.
It looks like "Sister Wives" Season 6 is ending with a bang with the show finally tackling Meri's catfishing controversy and with a few more revelations thrown in for good measure. Do not miss the season finale on November 15 on TLC.
