Episode 6 of "Sister Wives" Season 6 featured Robyn's pregnancy announcement, Christine's relationship issues with Kody and Meri's serious medical crisis. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride for viewers due to Kody and Robyn happily announcing the coming of their second child together and the revelation of the latest blow on Meri's life.
After her legal divorce from the controversial polygamist was finalized earlier this year, Meri opens up in the confessional about facing a major health scare reports IB Times . She revealed that she lost 30 pounds in the span of six weeks and she knew that the alarming weight loss was a sign that something was wrong with her.
In the episode titled "Robyn's Big Announcement", the 44 year old mother of one then consulted with a doctor. She complained about recurring stomach pains so her doctor advised her to undergo a CAT scan. Christian Today reports that the results showed that her cervix has a significant thickening which could be a sign of cervical cancer.
Meri has a 19 year old daughter, Mariah, with Kody. She was previously diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility but she never entertained the idea of having cancer. This was why she was able to go to her doctor's appointment alone, she posted on Twitter.
Meri is having a bad year it seems. She agreed to divorce Kody so he can marry Robyn and adopt her three children from a previous marriage. Very recently, she became a victim of catfishing in the internet reveals Fashion n Style. She entered into a romantic relationship with a businessman online but the guy turned out to be a woman. Meri revealed that she went into the relationship to find solace after her life turned upside down with the many changes that were going on.
Meanwhile, Kody and Robyn are still waiting for the judge's decision on his petition to legally adopt Robyn's three children Dayton, Aurora and Breanna. Will knowing that Kody is a practicing polygamist affect the judge's decision to grant the petition?
