Nintendo is yet to announce the official results of Super Smash Bros. 4 next DLC character more than a month past the casting of ballots for the special promo. However, top names of the contenders who will likely make it to the game have ben making the rounds online. Meanwhile, as Black Friday is right around the corner, a GameStop leaked ad reveals a $279.99 of the game including Splatoon are bundled in Wii U deal.
According to leaked GameStop's ad, the big retailer offering a Super Smash Bros. 4 and Splatoon Wii U bundle for $279.99 but with no gift card. ClapWay noted, however, that Meijer is selling the same bundle on Black Friday at a much lower price of $249.99 with a bonus of a $30 gift card which can be applied to the buyer's next set of purchased items.
Notedly, the two retailers differ in prices and Meijer's offering makes a better deal as opposed to GameStop, nevertheless, buyers can avail of this special Black Friday deal on November 27th. Most of the brand new game consoles like Wii U don't cost below $300 but during this sale, it can be bought at $249.99 bundled with 2 of Nintendo's most popular video games.
Meanwhile, there's no word from Nintendo still as to who is/are the winners based on the casting of votes and will be added to the brawler's roster soon. Although, during the voting period,the list of top fan choices include King K. Rool and Dixie Kong from Donkey Kong Country, Isaac from Golden Sun, Ridley from Metroid, and Inklings from Splatoon.
In addition to the above are Snake from Metal Gear Solid and Star Fox's Wolf who are also claimed to be popular contenders for Super Smash Bros. 4 DLC characters. Albeit, Shantae Half-Genie Hero was reported to have garnered the highest votes from the unofficial ballot conducted among gaming fans last month.
The current roster of Super Smash Bros.4 has more than 50 characters from Nintendo video games and other game makers alike. Based on the leaked secret codes retrieved from the game's latest patch, this number will be increased with the addition of not just one but 3 new DLC characters for massively popular Nintendo title.
