The official synopsis for "Empire" Season 2 Episode 8 entitled "My Bad Parts" has been released. Cookie and Lucious will reportedly make a bet to see who will get Hakeem.

In a report by International Business Times, Hakeem's new company called Lyon Dynasty has been competing with Empire and for its next episode, Cookie and Lucious will be making a bet in order to know who will get Hakeem. In the past episodes, Lucious has been making Freda look like his protégé and in the teaser trailer, he used her to get under Hakeem's skin. Freda has called out Hakeem and said that she is the true heir to Empire.

Hakeem then responds to Freda and a rap battle will ensue in "Empire" Season 2 Episode 8. This is where the bet between Lucious and Cookie will take place. Accordingly, if Hakeem loses, Lucious will be taking back Hakeem to Empire, Wet Paint shared.

The whole synopsis has been released by Carter Matt and it reads: "Lucious, eager to assert his power, releases a rap by Freda challenging Hakeem as his heir. Not to be outdone in Lucious' eyes, Hakeem fires back at Freda with a rap battle challenge that could put Lyon Dynasty's future in danger. Meanwhile, Cookie gets a special visit from her spitfire sister, Candace (guest star Vivica A. Fox), Jamal is working on landing a major sponsorship deal and Anika receives some life changing news."

Speaking of Jamal, he was helped by Cookie with his latest song in episode 7 and he will continue to ask help from her. However, Lucious will discover that the two have been working together. Because to this, he will force his son to choose between his mother or his father as he cannot have both.

"Empire" Season 2 Episode 8 is about Hakeem proving that he is better than Freda and his parents betting over him. Jamal will also have to make a difficult decision. "My Bad Parts" will air on Fox Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 9 PM.
