Another handset from the Canadian Manufacturer has it renders leaked via Crackberry. The second Android smartphone is claimed as the BlackBerry Vienna which could be the successor to the recently released BlackBerry Priv.
According to Crackberry, the images of the BlackBerry Vienna that have leaked out reveal that the company could ditch the slider design for this rumored second Android phone. This device will reportedly opt with its iconic physical keyboard upfront design which has been previously featured on several BlackBerry phones.
It is said that the front of the latest Vienna handset was noticed covering the display and the physical keyboard below it. Moreover, the leaked images also unveil a camera with flash on the back of the handset and the physical buttons for volume that is positioned on the right panel and power on the left side.
The Blackberry Vienna appears not bearing the BlackBerry Priv's premium look. A lot of bezel everywhere the display of the Vienna were seen, as well as the three physical Android keys that are just place above the QWERTY keyboard, back and front snappers are also visible in the renders.
Some of the changes predicted to be employed in the Blackberry Vienna would be its larger size than Priv in order to accommodate the touchscreen as well as an openly visible full QWERTY keyboard which is the BlackBerry phone's trademark. On the other hand, the soft navigation keys were noticed absent in the device since it could have hard keys for home, recent and back buttons, Yibada wrote.
White or silver, blue, orange and green would be the color options for the alleged second Android-OS BlackBerry phone, but the production model doesn't have final designs yet. The Vienna seems to also sport speakers that are bottom-mounted as well as a charging port positioned on the left side above sealed off trays intended for the SIM and MicroSD cards.
For those users who prefer a BlackBerry but do not like sliders, this BlackBerry Vienna phone could be a great option. This handset will run on Android with BlackBerry's tweaks on top. However, since the aforementioned specifications are just based on the renders, don't be surprised if the design alters, reports Venture Beat.
Blackberry CEO John Chen has confirmed that they have a series of products planned after the BlackBerry Priv which has just released. Thus, the alleged BlackBerry Vienna could actually be the next Android-powered phone which is also believed to be a cheaper product.
