The 'Captain America: Civil War' official trailer is slated to debut on December 2015 and will be attached to Walt Disney Studios' upcoming release 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'. Paul Bettany, who plays Vision in the MCU, teases more about his character's role in the upcoming film. He also compared working with the Russo brothers and Joss Whedon.
In an interview with Collider, Paul Bettany praised the experience of working with directors Russo brothers and Joss Whedon. He said, "They both have a really different approach. I loved working with all three of them. The really great thing with a cast that big is that you have two directors... I'm really excited to see what they do with what we shot." Bettany worked with Joe and Anthony Russo on 'Captain America: Civil War' and with Joss Whedon on 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'.
Although the 44-year old English actor didn't reveal more details about the upcoming film, he did offer some insight for Vision and the character's key role in the superhero team-up's dynamic. According to Comicbook.com, Bettany teased that Vision would be an unpredictable force to be reckoned with.
He said, "Is he going to be a force of good or a force of evil? It was really interesting, fun to play with, because he's dangerous, you don't know if he's going to go one way or another. I'm continuing that theme in Captain America 3."
Vision is a powerful android possessing superhuman abilities including supreme intelligence, holographic and vocal manipulation as well as formidable strength and reflexes. He can even maneuver himself in flight as well as absorb and channel solar energy at will through a jewel on his brow. After battling against Ultron, he officially became a member of the Avengers under Captain America's leadership.
Meanwhile, Tech Insider reported that the trailer's official release date is scheduled for December 2015. It will be attached to the upcoming 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' under Walt Disney Studios. Previous reports announced that it was to debut during the release of the new James Bond film 'Spectre' but was eventually refuted.
'Captain America: Civil War' is an upcoming science-fiction action film that will serve as the follow-up to 2014's 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier'. It is scheduled to be released on May 6, 2016 and stars Chris Evans in the title role. It is the thirteenth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
