The latest mobile Operating System Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be rolled out to Lenovo's popular smartphones such as K3 Note, A7000 Plus and A7000 in September 2016, as seen in Lenovo's Android Upgrade Matrix page.
Android Authority says that the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will be hitting the Lenovo A7000, A7000 Plus, and K3 Note in September 2016. In addition, the Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe S1 will also be upgraded to the newest Operating System by June in 2016.
It has been seen on the company's Android Upgrade Matrix Support page that it planned to release the Android marshmallow Update to Lenovo A7000 and A7000 Marshmallow by September next year. Moreover, the Lenovo K3 Note was reported to also get the OTA update in the same month of September 2016, Desispy noted.
As for the Lenovo's Vibe series, the site has also mentioned that the Lenovo Vibe S1 and Lenovo Vibe P1 they would get the latest upgrade in June 2016. All the aforesaid devices are currently running 5.0 Lollipop except for Vibe P1 since it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system. The support page of the company also added that those Smartphones personalized by operators or which are under contracts are not covered for the OS update.
A report from Latin Post has stated the owners of those aforementioned Lenovo devices will definitely be unhappy to witness or experience that kind of waiting. Thus, Lenovo should have moved fast to get those devices for that is a very far Android Marshmallow update release.
The K3 Note, A7000 Plus and A7000 that are slated to receive the Marshmallow release in September 2016 which could also be the time when Google will be gearing up to announce the Android N, reports GSM Arena.
While the K3 Note, A7000 Plus and A7000 Lenovo devices will still have to wait until September 2016 to acquire the newest OS Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Motorola, Sony and Huawei, the other smartphone companies were reported already released the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update roll out for their smartphones. It is said that there are already 0.3% of all Android smartphones which have got the latest Android mobile operating system version so far.
