UFC 2 Arrives Spring 2016; Ronda Rousey Still Cover of Title Despite Recent Loss, Male Cover Not Yet Revealed

By

As UFC 2 is yet to bestow its graces upon the fans, gamers have anticipated some iconic presences in the title such as one the most decorated female fighters of all time, Ronda Rousey. As great as the hype is, it's not always Thanksgiving, even for the self-proclaimed most dangerous woman on the planet.

According to IGN, the long-time norm of women's mixed martial arts, Ronda Rousey, has stayed on top of the mountain for nearly as long as she has been in the mixed martial arts industry. However, the recently concluded fight against Holly Holm has put a massive blockade to that streak, knocking Rousey out with a devastating head kick.

It was delivered by Design & Trend that despite the excruciating loss that Rousey experienced, her validity as the appointed cover of UFC 2 has not been omitted. The loss, of course, does not depict that she will no longer be the face of the game. It was noted that she will continue to be the poster face of the upcoming title, together with another male personality who is yet to be announced. UFC 2 still remains the focus and the title promises a lot of treats for its awaiting fans.

In full relation to the original plan, as reported by ESPN, Rousey quoted her infatuation of the idea, given that she, herself, is an avid gamer. She was quoted, "EA Sports is a cultural barometer to know what's going on in sports at the moment. As a gamer myself, it's pretty surreal to be on the cover of the game and to have a woman on the cover of a UFC game shows a lot of progress. I'm really happy to be involved with it."

Though Ronda Rousey's first memorable defeat may have entered rather untimely to some fans, the greatly renowned personality stays recognized, especially with a truly acknowledgeable game cover. UFC 2 is targeting a release period of spring within 2016, so stay tuned for further updates on the up and coming mixed martial arts title by EA Sports.
