Samsung Electronics is bound to release another entry-level smartphone, the Samsung J3 which features a 4.7" display. This handset recently got the certification from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in U.S indicating that its release is just around the corner.

According to Latin Post, many smartphone enthusiasts were surprised when Galaxy J3 showed up in a couple of benchmark listings last month. It comes after the Samsung Galaxy J2 has hit the market last September. And now, it appears that the Galaxy J3 will be launched soon as it was already approved by FCC.

International Business Times reported that the Samsung Galaxy J3 has the model number SM-J3109. And aside from the FCC certification, this handset was also cleared by other Chinese telecommunications governing bodies, TENAA and 3C.

Some of the other speculated features of Samsung Galaxy J3 were specified. This handset will have a 4.7 inch display screen packed with 720 x 1280 HD display. It might be engineered with a Qualcomm 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor that will offer amazing speed for users to enjoy.

The Galaxy J3 might also sport an Adreno 306 GPU, an 8 GB in-built storage capacity and 1 GB of RAM. The device is expected to arrive with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera having face detection, autofocus and touch focus features that will help photo-enthusiasts show their shooting skills. Some of the usual features include GPS connectivity, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

As for the Galaxy J3's operating system, the device might run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 5.1.1 Lollipop as it comes out of the box. When it comes to the specific release date, global availability and pricing, there were no available information yet.

Seeing the Samsung Galaxy J3 on FCC certification indicate that the device's release might be really soon. Meanwhile, the Samsung Electronics hasn't provided any details yet so their avid fans will still have to rely on these speculations until the South Korean tech company reveals everything.
