The upcoming 2016 versions of Samsung Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 are expected to sport similar design to the premium lineup of the South Korean tech giant, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6. Other specifications and features that the upcoming smartphones might carry are also predicted.
According to GizBot, Samsung has been all over the internet mill as the rumors about the new editions of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphones have surfaced. After the recent leak about these handsets, fresher set of photos of the 2016 Edition of Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 have circulated online. The images revealed their designs which were quite similar to Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6.
NDTV Gadgets stated that similar to Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6, the Galaxy A3 and A5 2016 versions sport a glass-like material on the back panel and a metal frame. The bottom side of both handsets has a room for headphone slot, Micro-USB port, and a speaker grille with mic. The rear cameras and the LED flash are also situated in the middle of the back panel like the latter models.
Aside from its similarities to the premium line-up, the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016 version) features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display. It is predicted to be engineered with an Exynos 7580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz and 1.5GB RAM. It will have 16 GB of built-in storage, a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel front snapper.
On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2016 edition) sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display. It is engineered with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7 processor clocked at 1.6GHz. This device might be armed with ARM Mali-T720, 2GB RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage, which would leave 11 GB for users. This handset will be armored with a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera that features a LED flash, as well as a 4.7-megapixel front-facing snapper.
Both devices which are rumored to run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, will be able to capture videos in full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution.
In related news, Tech Times reported that this holiday season seems to be a really a perfect time to get a Samsung smartphone. The company will have couple of bundle offers that can help the consumers save up to $350 with the purchase of a Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge+ or Galaxy S6 Edge. There will also be more rebates for shoppers who would chose to activate their Samsung Pay. Apart from that, Samsung also offers credit in Google Play for buyers who would trade in an iPhone for a Galaxy phone.
There is no exact release date yet, but Samsung Galaxy A3 and A5 2016 editions are predicted to be launched before 2015 ends. In the meantime, followers and potential buyers should wait for Samsung's further announcements.
