Once again, NCIS: Los Angeles Season 7 dealt with a timely issue on terrorism on its eighth episode entitled 'The Long Goodbye'. A number of teenage girls were reportedly gone missing to join a terrorist organization. Meanwhile, Deeks was arrested for the murder of his partner. Pamela Reed to reappear as guest star in Episode 9 of the series.
NCIS: Los Angeles Season 7 Episode 8 opened with Callen (Chris O'Donnell) updating Sam (LL Cool J) on a case involving terrorists. The scene shifted into a terrified teenage girl being taken by armed men. As the scene switched back to the NCIS office, Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) suggested to Owen Granger (Miguel Ferrer) that terrorist ISIS may be targeting children, Ecunemical News posted.
The team's investigation discovered that the terrorist group has been focusing on young girls to lure in the group. In reality, ISIS do recruit young girls to join their group to become young wives of their soldiers. The team raced against time to save one teenage girl from being recruited, Examiner reported.
The eighth episode of NCIS LA Season 7 ended with the Internal Affairs LAPD Jacqueline Rivera (Alexandra Barreto) arresting Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). The team was clueless as on the deal with his arrest but Hollywood Hills revealed that Deeks' arrest will have something to do with the murder of his former partner. The closing scene for episode 8 is the beginning of the story arc for Deeks and the Internal Affairs, Episode 9.
The upcoming episode 9 of NCIS LA revolving around Deeks' arrest and his involvement of his partner's death while his team gathers evidences to prove his innocence. The episode will include flashbacks from Deeks past. Pamela Reed will appear as guest star playing the role of Deeks' mother and will be seen with Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) in a visit to the prison. Viewers should anticipate Deeks' confession to Kensi.
