iPhone is rumoured to be developing a budget phone to be released by the early part of next year. The phone is being called the iPhone 5s Mark II.
Citing reliable sources, Mac Rumors shared claims that Apple is now developing or has already developed a new 4 inch iPhone based on iPhone 5s and sporting the sixth generation of iPod touch features, including an A8 chip, 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and an upgraded FaceTime HD camera with ƒ/2.2 aperture. They are calling it the iPhone 5s Mark II.
Mac Otakara further claims that the handset has actually already been ready for production and can be shipped anytime. KGI securities analyst expects the new 4-inch iPhone to be an upgraded version of the iPhone 5s and the launch date to be anywhere in the first half of 2016.
It is further thought of that the cheaper variation iPhone will not have 3D Touch features to encourage adoption of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. According to GSM Arena, there are rumours that suggest that the iPhone 5s Mark II will also sport a Touch ID fingerprint sensor as well as NFC support for Apple Pay.
The big question everyone is asking now is whether the iPhone 5s Mark II and the iPhone 6c are different phones or if they are one and the same.
In other Apple rumours, new reports indicate that the iPhone 7 will be much thinner than the latest release, the iPhone 6s. However, the big worry is that the iPhone 7 might be too slim that there will be a decrease in the size of the battery, potentially reducing the battery capacity.
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus continue to perform spectacularly as sales were a record breaking 13 Million units sold when the device was launched in late September. Last year, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launch was lower at 10 million units.
