Apple Watch 2 Reportedly Arriving in June 2016

Apple is expected to launch a yet another addition to its smartwatch lineup, the Watch 2. Recent reports claim that it will be released by June 2016.

As reported by Design Trend, the Cupertino-based tech giant is gearing up to launch its forthcoming Apple Watch 2 before the end of 2016's first quarter. The information and details about the alleged smartwatch were revealed by Quanta Computer's Chairman, Barry Lam.

Rumor has it that Quanta was the only manufacturer for Apple Watch. However, there are some reports suggesting that Foxconn has now paving its way to the production of the anticipated wearable device.

The Apple Watch 2 is believed to be launched at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Apparently, there were just a few details shared as to the features of the latest Apple smartwatch. Nevertheless, it is supposed to have the same look like the original Apple Watch. It is said to include a 3G modem under the hood that allows the smartwatch to work even without being paired with an iPhone, so as to reduce its dependency on it.

The next-generation Apple smartwatch is also speculated to feature a camera that lets users to have video chats through FaceTime. Additionally, it will sport a larger internal battery, thinner size, improved outdoor visibility, and faster processor as compared to its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the first-generation Apple Watch was finally released in April of this year with restricted supplies. But, Apple has increased its distribution and availability to consumers, expanding its lineup in September and adding new bands and color options.

On the whole, Apple has yet to make an official announcement regarding the launch of its newest smartwatch. The Apple Watch 2, which is rumored to arrive in June next year will absolutely be one of the innovative products of the tech giant to watch out for.
