The ninth episode of "Blue Bloods" Season 6 entitled "Holds Out" will focus on the stronger side of Erin as she solves a difficult case while undercover experts Eddie and Jamie shows off their skills in doing undercover to stop a gang. Meanwhile, Commissioner Frank Reagan faces a tough decision.
In an episode spoiler posted on Carter Matt, Erin (Bridget Moynahan) is forced to take over the case from her colleague, ADA Kelly Blake (Diane Neal) when a homicide case ends in a hung jury. With the help of DA investigator Anthony Abetemarco (Steve Schirripa), Erin needs to find a missing witness who will provide her vital information on the case.
Also, Jamie (Will Estes) and Eddie (Vanessa Ray) go undercover as an elderly couple to catch a gang that is terrorizing a neighborhood. In last week's episode, as described in Christian Today, Jamie encountered problems with his immediate superior when he chose to disobey the orders of Sgt. William Mulvey (AJ Buckley), who wanted to attack a hostage taker without calling for backup. Jamie decided to follow the proper protocol, but he almost got reprimanded for doing the right thing. This week's episode will see how Jaime works with partner Eddie as they showcase their expertise in doing undercover.
Meanwhile, a video promo posted in Spoilers Guide depicts a rather confusing state for Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) and rumor has it that he might resign from post. In the video, Frank walks in the room and is asked if he even wants to come back. He answered I don't know. It also shows him saying "I am close to the end of the beginning." Frank has been in a bad light especially when he was booed by college students. It is in this episode that viewers will see Frank's decision to stay up to the game or leave the post.
Blue Bloods Season 6 Episode 9 "Holds Out" airs on Friday at 10pm on CBS.
