'The Bachelor' Season 20 Updates: Ben Higgins wants to settle down; New Bacherlor's decision predicted by previous Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristow?

The newest bachelor of ABC's popular dating reality show "The Bacherlor" Season 20 wants to find a partner that he will share the rest of his life with and coincidentally, this event was actually foreseen by the bachelorette who dumped him earlier this year.

Season 20 of "The Bachelor" marks the return of a familiar face. This time around, Ben Higgins will be the one swooned by 25 attractive women and to make it more exciting, the dashing 26-year old software developer is dead serious about finding the one. In his interview with People, Higgins expressed that he intends to marry whoever he ends up with as the season wraps up.

"Ideally at the end of this, I will be proposing. That would be a really cool thing," Higgins said.

It can be remembered that Higgins was one of the bachelors who tried to vie for Kaitlyn Bristow's heart in the eleventh season of The Bachelerotte. Despite his charming personality and ridiculously good looks, Higgins did not make it to the final cut and ended up as the second runner-up, ABC Go reports.

Being selected for the next installment of the show is the best way that Higgins can get the kind of love that he finally deserves. Talking to US Weekly, Higgins expressed that this opportunity comes once in a lifetime and he is willing to do anything that it takes to make things work.

"I think it's something that any man, if asked, should consider. And I've been in the process now and I can see that it works," Higgins said on being chosen for the role.

Speaking of Kaitlyn Bristow, the former bachelorette actually has made a prediction about Higgins being the next bachelor in line. In her interview with People, Bristow provided three solid reasons as to why Higgins would be the perfect bachelor for season 20.

"He's a well-rounded guy, he knows what he wants. And even though he's 26, he's a mature kind of 26," Bristow said.

Looks like the girl that would end up with Ben will surely be a lucky one. Catch the return of "The Bachelor" on January 4, 2016 on ABC.
