Exo's Lay Looking Dangerously Fatigued; What It Means To Be A Kpop Idol

By

Kpop has become a huge trend these days and diehard fans following the Korean pop culture know some of the ugly truths that lie behind the scenes.

One of the most known issues suffered by Korean idol groups is fatigue. Although this is not exclusive to them as all celebrities across the globe may have experience the same at some point, in Korea, this has been a controversial deal purporting that these artists are overworked by their management.

Thus it is no surprise that media outlets covering Kpop are making headlines for EXO member, Lay.

Kpop idols are always expected or even required to look their best. The culture in Korea is known for their strictness as they treat rules and discipline seriously. This is why idols have to keep their composure and flash their smiles in public appearances whatever they're going through. But boy group EXO's Lay was not able to conceal his exhaustion and was spotted looking rather tired at a public event.

As reported by KMUSIC, Lay whose real name is Zhang Yixing, was given the honor to sing China's National anthem at World Cup Qualifying Match. While the artist gave his best as he sang the anthem, he was later spotted looking really tired and ill.

This got EXO fans worried over their "Unicorn", as there are already numerous incidents of Kpop idols collapsing countless of times, to the point that they faint on stage or get rushed to the hospital. Lay is even more fragile as he's among those who suffer from a unique disease.

Reportedly, Lay suffers from hemophilia, a rare disorder that doesn't let your blood clot normally. Thus, it's important he pays attention not to get deep cuts or open wounds, in which excessive blood loss is ominously possible.

In any case, it's important that Lay and even other EXO members, and generally Kpop idols, pay attention to their health despite their demanding schedules.

Meanwhile, EXO just completed Their 'The EXO'luXion' Tour in Japan, hastily shooting up their popularity to the Japanese audience.
