Viber users will have every reason to be happy as Viber 5.6.0.2413 version APK update finally arrived and is now available for download through Google Play and third-party vendor sites.
The popular chat-and-text app was introduced five (5) years ago and carried familiar apps like Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Skype, and others. Currently, Viber has around 250 million active customers.
In order to use the service, uses have to install the app on their mobile phones using their phone numbers. After the install, they can now access the app and use all of its functions. Users can also access Viber through their PCs and Macs among others.

Neuro Gadget mentioned in their report that the new Viber update carries improvement on apps that are currently in use like Public Chats which have been extended to Android tablets and the ability to send text messages up to 7,000 words characters long.
Neuro Gadget also added that a new feature, Group Likes, allows users to like their friends' vibes (or instant messages.
The new Viber update requires 38.45 MB free space on the users' mobile phones and can likewise be downloaded from Viber's official page aside from the aforementioned sites.
More into the new Viber update, users who opt to install Viber from third-party vendor sites should make adjustments to their phone's security options.
Mel Abad of Latin Post said that allowing programs from third-party vendors are disabled by default due to threats (i.e., malware, viruses) that might compromise the user's device. Viber is currently available on different OS platforms such as iOS, Symbian, Android, Blackberry OS, and Mac OS.
The current version of Viber at 5.1.1 literally blocks spam messages for iOS devices before actually being opened by the user. The feature, Abad reported, allowed users to ignore spam messages without the sender knowing if the user read the message or not. Previously, users would manually block the unwanted numbers/senders to prevent their phones from receiving spam messages, Abad added.
And finally for Viber 5.6.0.2413 update, Daisy of APK Trunk listed update specifics to the much-loved Viber app, to wit: messaging friends, making free phone and video calls in HD, sticker market downloads, Viber sharing, group messages with up to 200 participants, follow public chats, play games, Android wear support, contact list integration, and Windows and Mac Viber Desktop support.
