Xiaomi is expected to launch its newest flagship smartphone on November 24. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro has a metal-clad build as confirmed by Xiaomi CEO's posts.
According to NDTV Gadgets, the probable unveiling date of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro was based on the teaser image posted by the company on its Weibo account on Tuesday, November 17. The teaser image stated 'Grand Finale' in Chinese and the supposed launch date but it did not mention anything about the handset. It was also reported that the launch is scheduled to take place at the Beijing National Convention Centre.
Furthermore, Phone Arena cited the possible specifications that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro might sport. This handset will have a metal-clad build and a rounded rear-facing camera with a dual LED flash underneath. Featuring the fingerprint scanner, the Redmi Note 2 Pro will feature a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. It will be engineered with a MediaTek MT6795 chipset under its chassis that will work hand-in-hand with an octa-core 2GHz CPU, a 2 GB or 3 GB of RAM and a 16 GB of built-in storage.
As for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro's camera, it might have a 13-megapixel rear-facing snapper and a 5-megapixel front shooter that is basically good for taking selfies and video chats. This handset is expected to be powered by a 3060mAh battery and havethe Android 5.0.2 pre-installed.
Latinos Post stated the possible price that the Redmi Note 2 Pro might have. The device's cost is about $172, that is slightly higher than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 which is available for about $158.
Meanwhile, the scheduled Xiaomi product launch is open for attendance but then seats are limited. Tickets will be priced at $30 which is seemingly on a first-come first served basis.
With the announcement that Xiaomi's CEO posted, it is confirmed that the Xiaomi Red Mi Note 2 Pro will ba an all-metal device. But the other features and specifications are still yet to be determined so the possible buyers should wait for further announcements.
