Days prior to the much awaited release of the first and only 'The Old Hunters' expansion pack for Bloodborne this Tuesday, November 24, Sony has unleashed the new patch for the PS4 exclusive title which will introduce players to a new Covenant called 'The Federation' plus other exciting contents and new features.
GameSpot reports that the patch notes for Bloodborne 1.07 update in English language have yet to be released but fans on the game's sub-Reddit took the initiative to interpret the post on Japanese PlayStation Blog which revealed its contents. The new update has a size of 9.37GB and will be adding a new Covenant known as 'The Federation' or will be possibly called 'The League' in English version.
Earlier this month, Sony Japan's Masaaki Yamagiwa revealed that 'The League' will be led by "a mysterious figure in a constable's garb and bucket helmet."
Other items added in the latest patch are the new NPC co-op partners and an ancient summoning bell which shall allow players to send off new NPCs into Chalice Dungeons where some changes have also been made. Fans can check out the full details on Bloodborne Patch 1.07 provided via Reddit forums.
'The Old Hunters' pack is set to arrive November 24, as the first and last DLC for the popular RPG. The new expansion will feature the story of the main game's legendary hunters set in a "nightmare world where hunters from the past are trapped forever." It has been made available now for pre-loading prior to official public launching on Tuesday.
As Sony's Shuhei Yoshida previously referred to the DLC as "full-scale download", the all-new expansion will cost players $19.99 / €14.99 / £11.99 a piece. An Old Hunter Edition which will contain the main title plus 'The Old Hunters' pack will also be available on December 5.
Developed by From Software who's behind well-received Demon's Souls and Dark Souls series, Bloodborne was released as PS4 exclusive on March 24 this year. Bloodborne 2 is already rumored to be in development.
