Two of the most prominent members of Bravo's "Real Housewives of Atlanta" appeared on popular talk shows this week with Nene Leaks smiling her way during a rather uncomfortable guesting on The View and Kenya Moore throwing some major shade at the other housewives in New York Live.
The sassy and hilarious Nene Leakes, who recently made a comeback in the RHOA stage for a special episode, dropped by ABC's The View to do some promo for her other career ventures particularly her stint as Mama Morton on Broadway's Chicago. Things were going fine not until Joy Behar, one of the show's panelists, asked Leaks questions that made the reality star feel uncomfortable.
Behar was particularly keen about asking Nene's relationship with her husband, real estate investor Gregg Leakes. It can be remembered that the couple decided to call it quits last 2011 but then surprised everyone as they decided to remarry in 2013. Leakes definitely did not want to talk about it so she resorted by telling that divorce served as a lesson to her husband.
Although the interview ended quite well, it was clear that Leakes was not cool with how the hosts treated her, US Magazine reports. Leakes took her frustrations to Twitter by saying that the hosts were "mean girls".
"Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don't belong," Leakes tweeted.
Despite the amount of support from fans after the interview, Leakes has since then deleted the tweet, The Irish Mirror reports.
On the other hand, Kenya Moore appeared on NBC's New York Live and as expected, the former Miss USA always had something to say. This time, she took aim on her fellow RHOA members, according to People.
When asked about her thoughts on the new cast member, actress and film director Kim Fields, Moore said that there are some people who aren't just destined to be on reality TV. Moore also shared an episode that she had with Sheree Whitfield and she specifically focused on how the former's mansion is not yet finished even after it started construction four years ago.
"When we met, it seemed like she was kind of upset because of what was already known about her house not being completed after four years of being under construction. I offered to start a Kickstarter for her, to finish it, but I don't think that went over well," Moore said.
With Moore's saucy comments, things will definitely more interesting in RHOA as Whitfield recently has staged a comeback on the popular reality show. Catch more of these moments in "The Real Housewives of Atlanta", only on Bravo.
