On November 16, Nintendo's Pokemon Shuffle for 3DS has received its lates 1.2.24 update which provided three additional challenges, namely, Mega Manectric Stage, Delibird Escalation Battle, and the Roseus Centre.

Pokemon Shuffle is a freemium puzzle video game developed by Genius Sonority in cooperation with The Pokemon Company. Since its February 2015 launch, the game immediately gained popularity as reported by International Business Times. Originally released for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo offered it for Android and iOS on August after realizing the game to be hit. The 1.2.24 update revealed three additional game challenges: Mega Manectric Stage, Delibird Escalation Battle, and the Roseus Centre. The Mega Manectric Stage awards a Manectite, Mega Speedup, Attack Power, or a Jewel to specific top players in their respective areas which runs from December 1 to December 8. On the other hand, the Delibird Escalation Battle shall offer a range of rewards such as multiplied Exp Points, additions in Moves, Disruption Delay, Mega Start, or Attack Power Up as players go through different respective levels, which would last until November 24. Finally, the Roseus Centre will unlock only after players would be able to beat Medicham.

According to Serebii, the updates are to be obtained in-game, in addition to the standard patch system. Updates were done through Check In function which connects to the internet where one will be able to download Extra Data. Such data includes data for events but still remains unknown how far would these updates go. The site also warned players that if the Extra Data is deleted after playing, a player will be required to re-download before booting again.

The Pokemon Company, being an autonomous entity, may decide outside the jurisdiction of Nintendo. It adopted a mobile compatible version for Pokemon Shuffle for the Android and iOS platforms and according to PC Mag, the game has found its true home. It was further commented that the 3DS version did not take advantage of the stereoscopic 3DS screen; therefore, nothing much has lost in its mobile transitioning. The Poke Crash Saga featured in the game is much similar to the phenomenal Candy Crush. Pokemon Shuffle also adopts the old school Pokemon style of gaming as each puzzle presents as a duel against a wild Pokemon or a trainer.

Pokemon fans can now download the 1.2.24 update for the Pokemon Shuffle game to be able to access the Mega Manectric Stage, Delibird Escalation Battle, and the Roseus Centre.
