As reported earlier, Mortal Kombat X is claimed as the no. 1 video game in US as of Q3 2015. Warner Bros. announced that its revenues increased by 15% primarily with the help of the sales of video games such as LEGO Dimensions, Mad Max, Batman: Arkham Knight, and Mortal Kombat X, reports Playstation Lifestyle.
Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes stated jubilantly:
"We had another very good quarter, with Revenues up 5% and strong growth in Adjusted Operating Income, which totaled $1.8 billion. Our revenue growth was led by Warner Bros. and Home Box Office, and illustrated how our investments in great content have been paying off in our traditional television businesses, as well as in newer areas such as video games."
Mortal Kombat X is developed by NetherRealm Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC in April this year.
