Google has recently released its latest Nexus smartphone, the 6P. It is said to be the search engine's most innovative handset yet. However, those who have purchased it are having some quality issues. One of which is that the microphone seems to be problematic.
Recent reports claim that some Nexus 6P users are experiencing problems related to noise cancellation functionality, as per Ubergizmo. Apparently, there are some XDA conversations that talk about the complaints on the device's microphone. This is just one of the multiple issues that users encounter with their 6P handsets.
Google is reportedly to fix the problem and ensure that all issues are to be settled. The main concern here is that when users call someone, the person on the other line could barely hear them or has a difficulty hearing them. It might just be a problem with the signal, but if it's always like this, then it's already bothersome and stressful.
Nevertheless, one of the users has explained in a thread that if some people experience this one, then they may disable the noise cancellation to fix the issue. In fact, the noise cancellation in the Nexus 6P functions when it makes use of numerous microphones to filter the background noise, so that calls are made clearer.
That being said, the problem might just be a software issue and not otherwise. Hence, there is no need for the users to head to the stores and try to repair it or get a new model. But, it is still the users' right to complain if something is wrong with their smartphone.
On the whole, the Nexus 6P users have encountered multiple issues already with their handset. It is quite disappointing, since this device is expected to be one of the greatest Nexus handsets. Nonetheless, Google is doing its best to solve the current problems, especially about the microphone issue.
