"Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" is known for receiving new events, all of which enables players to fetch a rare Pokemon that is usually not available in the game. Now, it will be receiving a new one called the Pikachu event. In addition, players can expect to experience Festive Feud Online Competition, an event purposely made for the holiday season, come December 11.
The Pokemon Company has since been the publisher and Nintendo distributor for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." Every week, the game receives new event update from the company so as to provide players new, rare Pokemons. And now, according to International Business Times, the company will be releasing the Pikachu event solely for Japan region. The said event is a result of a celebratory "Pokemon With You" campaign that starts from December 20. Players who will participate in the Pikachu event will reportedly acquire a special Pikachu, one that will be Level 99 Pokemon with a Souvenir Ribbon.
A trusted Pokemon news source called Serebii noted that the special Pikachu Pokemon acquired in the upcoming "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" event will feature new moves. These are Happy Hour, Play Nice, and Hold Hands and Flash, while it will hold a Rare Candy. Moreover, "Pokemon ORAS" will be getting a new special Gift Pack consisting of two games and various in-game bonuses - all of which will be costing 6,500 Yen.
Pokemon Global Link, on the other hand, reported that a new Christmas event is also on its way to "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. It is reportedly coined as the Festive Feud Online Competition, which has themes intently matched for the holiday season. The said competition will see players making use of greed, red and white Pokemon for their teams. In fact, there has already been a list of eligible Pokemon that can be utilized in the online battles, all of which are grouped in their respective colors.
It seems Pokemon fanatics have a lot to look forward to, as "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" is expected to cover the Pikachu event and the Festive Feud Online Competition. As for the latter, gamers are advised to register as early as December 3 for the online competition kicks off on December 11.
