Adele’s New Album “25” Set to Make Music History

By

Adele is set to make music history with her album "25".

The British singer is already known for her talents, but she's making it factual thru figures. In a report by Billboard magazine, "25" is reportedly expected to sell 2.5 million copies in the United States. That's only the estimated number.

Numbers on iTunes show that "25" already sold at least 900,000 downloads, and the album is No. 1 on Apple's iTunes in over 110 countries. As noted, a new tracking service called BuzzAngle, estimated that that album will have sold 1.9 million copies in both digital and physical form.

On iTunes alone, "25" sold at least, according to Billboard, and the album is No. 1 on chart in 110 countries. BuzzAngle, a new tracking service that competes with Nielsen, estimated that by Saturday the album had sold 1.9 million copies in both digital and physical form.

Moreover, as reported by New York Times, Adele has decided not to release her album on streaming outlets like Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal. While these streamers have a potential to boost the album's popularity, it also risks that issues in exacting the definite sales and royalties paid to the artist. It might be Adele's strategy in order to get the exact figures for her expected sales. This is a wise decision since "25" no longer needs any exposure, it simply needs to get the numbers worthy for it.

To put it striaght, "25" is huge in all sense, breaking records and impressing not just fans, but even Billboard itself that sets the pedestal for music artists.

"Adele is a phenomenon." Keith Caulfield, co-director of charts at Billboard said. "She connects with fans in such a way that they want to invest in her, and her music."

"25" marks Adele's comeback after her album, "21", released nearly five years ago and which sold over 30 million copies and won 7 Grammy awards. The way things are looking, Adele is bound to bring home a dozen of awards again.
