FOX has not yet confirmed the renewal of "Scream Queens" for Season 2 but it looks like a new plot is already underway. The first season has only four episodes left and Oliver Hudson who plays Wes Gardener in the series recently revealed that the next season's setting will be at a summer camp. Meanwhile, there are already rumours of new cast members for Season 2, and Lady Gaga is one of the stars who showed interest in the show.
Hudson revealed the setting during a guest appearance on "Watch What Happens Live," where he told host, Andy Cohen, "I have an idea. It's scary, I'm scared to reveal anything. We don't even know if it's gonna be picked up, but whatever - think summer camp."
Before Hudson dropped the bombshell about Season 2, show creator, Ryan Murphy, already teased the next season without giving too much away in a recent Fan Fright Fest Q&A in New York. "I just pitched to Fox the second season. Everybody loves the idea of it, and the conceit is three or four of the cast members [from season 1] survive." He continues that the survivors go off to a new setting in Season 2. He adds that it's a "horror based venue" where they have to face a new killer and new threats. Murphy recently bumped the survivors' number up to four or five since they hate saying goodbye to actors they love.
In the recent events of the show, two of the red devil killers have been revealed, leaving one more yet to be exposed. It was already known that Boone (Nick Jonas) is one of the killers and Gigi (Nasim Pedrad) has been helping him all along. A theory suggests that Hester (Lea Michele) is not really dead and could possibly be the other red devil.
In other news, Ryan Murphy also revealed that Lady Gaga who stars in his other show, "American Horror Story: Hotel," also wants to be part of "Scream Queens." He shares that the pop star watches the show and loves it. Evan Peters who also stars in "American Horror Story," also expressed his interest in the show.
Who do you think will be the remaining survivors this season? Stay tuned for the final four episodes of "Scream Queens" as the mystery of the red devil killers continue to unfold. Catch it Tuesdays 9pm on FOX. The season finale is set to air on December 8. Don't miss it!
