The so-called "ultimate tablet for gamers" NVidia Shield Tablet K1 has just recently announced and now available for the mobile gamers. This upgraded version of the SHIELD Tablet offers more awesome portable gaming experience.

According to Android Community, the recently announced SHIELD Tablet K1 is certainly designed for the gamers. Due to its high-performance specs, this device will not be like a typical Android tablet. It operates with some special games while being accompanied with the SHIELD controller to offer users a better gaming experience. Because of its NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor and a 192-core NVIDIA Kepler GPU, this device has the ability to deliver stunning graphics.

As for more of its specifications, this new NVIDIA SHIELD tablet K1 comes in 8-inch 1080p Full HD display along with dual front-facing speakers. It also boasts 2GB of RAM as well as 16GB built-in storage that can be expanded through a microSD card. In addition, it includes connectivity features such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Front, dual bass reflex port and 19.75 Watt hour Lithium ion battery are also being featured in this device.

Tech Times reports that this latest NVidia Shield Tablet K1 features a microSD card support and dual stereo speakers at the front. This new tablet runs on Android Lollipop but it will be updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Nevertheless, the company did not provide information if when it will roll out.

The new NVidia Shield Tablet K1K1 has been made with minor design changes compared to its forerunner. The removal of the pen slot from the tablet's chassis would be the leading feature among these twists. This device comes compatible with the ShieldDirect Stylus 2, Phone Arena wrote.

However, the pen will not be included in the price of the tablet, and this device will also be shipped without a charger or an adapter. These are all cost-cutting measures, but the tablet's reduced price could be appreciated by several clients.

So far, the company has just released its Shield Tablet K1 Wi-Fi model. On the other hand, those customers who desire to avail the 32 GB LTE model should have to wait for a little while longer.
