Some possible specifications of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 and Huawei P9 flagship smartphones have leaked out. The specifications seen on the leak said to show that both of these devices feature similar specifications.
Latin Post reports that the leak has been spotted on Chinese website Weibo. It is reported to reveal a 5.2-inch display, AMOLED panels and 2k or 4k resolution sported on both the Huawei P9 and Xiaomi Mi 5. Apart from this latest information, these two new mobile gadgets are also projected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow along with at least 3GB of RAM.
After the aforesaid similarities of both handsets, the Xiaomi Mi 5, on the other hand, becomes different to P9 in terms of the featured processor, The Xiaomi mi5 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 820 while Huawei's next-generation Kirin 950 processor will be for the P9 smartphone. It is also cited that both of these handsets will be packed with 3GB of RAM and their particular versions of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, Gizmo China noted.
Other information from Latin Post has shared that the new 6nm chipset for the Xiaomi mi 5 is bundled with four high-power ARM Cortex A72 processors at up to 2.3 GHz and another four lower-power Cortex A53 processors at 1.8GHz.On the other hand, the new Kirin 950 that is rumored to be featured in the Huawei P9 comes equipped with a Cat 6 LTE modem plus a Mali T880MP4 processor for graphics. Voice quality upgrades as well as longer battery life are the improvements expected from the processors.
In a separate report from Tech Versed, it is stated that the Xiaomi Mi5 will be having a 5.5 Inch Quad H.D display instead of coming in 5.2-inch screen. Moreover, it is said to be built with 64 GB internal memory that can be extended up to 200GB via a MicroSD card.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 is expected to be unveiled early next year with a price that will start at 30,499 Rupees in India. On the other hand, the Huawei P9 might have a price tag of US$500 and could be seen in April 2016.
