Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A310F) and the Samsung Galaxy A5 (SM-A5100) are the new handsets that enthusiasts will be expecting in the market shelves soon. The two devices' specs and features were revealed after it visited Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Benchmark test results also showed excellent capabilities of the new devices.
Phone Arena mentioned that both devices will come with NFC and a possibility of Samsung Pay. According to the benchmark test, Galaxy A3 will be equipped with 4.7 inches screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280. It will also be supported by Exynos 7580 SoC, containing a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU and Mali-T720 GPU. Its internal memory size will be 16GB with 1.5GB of RAM. A3's camera will be 13MP rear and 5MP in front. The report added that the new handset will be powered by Android 5.1.1.
Further, related report mentioned that Galaxy A5 will be equipped with 5.2 inches screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. On one side, Galaxy A3 is smaller than Galaxy A5 when it comes to the screen size. In addition, A5 will come with a processor of octa-core 1.6GHz CPU which will support Mali-T720 GPU handling graphics. Its camera and internal memory are the same as featured by Galaxy A3.
In another report, NDTV said that the new devices shall include usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth, NFC, and Single-band LTE. It is also believed that A5 and A3 will be equipped with a metal body design from the previous generation.
Meanwhile, there are no further reports on when the two devices will be released in the market. There are also no statements on the other specs and features of the two Android devices, as well as its price. Enthusiasts will have to wait for full details from one of the biggest smartphone manufacturer, Samsung, about the upcoming new devices.
