EP Jon Bokenkamp teases some details on how Tom Keen will save his ex-wife Liz in "The Blacklist" Season 3 Episode 9. With that being said, the official plot for the forthcoming episode as well as the winter finale recap has been posted.
Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp discussed with Entertainment Weekly if Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) will still be able to free his former wife Liz (Megan Boone). Bokenkamp elaborated that Tom will do anything possible to save and free Liz. Tim will have no choice but to ask help with the former FBI partner whom he hates, Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenholf).
As per the official synopsis for third season's episode 9, Carter Matt notes, "While Red creates a crime scene to retrieve his care package, friends of the truth rally around Liz, whose life is in grave danger now that she's in custody. Christine Lahti and David Strathairn guest star."

Then Liz made a deal with the robbers where she exchanged Red for a package. Suddenly, Liz was arrested by Ressler's team.
