"Wonder Woman" will be debuting on the upcoming Batman v Superman movie before she flies onto her own standalone film. While the upcoming movie project rolls into production, details are slowly being unveiled.
Recently, Gal Gadot (Fast and Furious) has shared a photo on her Twitter feed which acquired thousands of likes from other users. The photo which she captioned with "Almost 75 years in the making..." featured her wearing a hooded cape revealing a glimpse of her golden head gear on. As the actress revealed, "#WonderWoman is underway."
Aside from the production, the studio has also announced the locations of the principal photography. In an article on the TV News Room, the photography will take place in three countries in Europe which includes the United Kingdom, France and Italy.
In some previous reports, Nicole Kidman (Bewitched) was rumored to join the cast as Diana Prince's mother Queen Hippolyta. But some news said she will be the older version of Diana Prince. However, Warner Bros has denied the rumor of Kidman appearing as Diana Prince as per Yibada.
Other cast who will be joining Gal Gadot in the upcoming "Wonder Woman" movie are Chris Pine (Star Trek) who will be Captain Steve Trevor, Robin Wright (House of Cards), Danny Huston (X-Men Origins: Wolverine), David Thewlis (Harry Potter films), Ewen Bremner (Snowpiercer), Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis.
The "Wonder Woman" standalone film will be produced by Charles Roven, Zack Snyder, and Deborah Snyder while the executive producers include Richard Suckle, Stephen Jones, Wesley Coller, Geoff Johns and Rebecca Roven.
During a press release, the studio revealed that the photo shoot has already begun. Unlike the colorful suit worn by the first Wonder Woman Lynda Carter during the 70's TV series, sources say the first photo of Gadot's "Wonder Woman" donned a darker and hotter costume which resembled the costume of Xena.
