Blizzard has already started running World of Warcraft's the alpha test for the new expansion Legion. Some email invites are being sent to selected group of players who will participate in the test.
Part of the email invitation was shared by Blizzard Watch where it states that each alpha test participant will see and experience the brand new content as well as features of Legion prior to release of its expansion.
"Over the course of testing, you'll get a first look at the fierce new Demon Hunter class, explore the fabled Broken Isles, take control of class order halls and artifact weapons, and get reacquainted with the demonic Burning Legion," the email read.
However, Cinema Blend believe that the alpha test right now is very limited as the level 100-110 zones of Broken Isles are still unavailable. Testers are only allowed to play Vault of the Elders and Mardum which are among the two parts of the latest Demon Hunter class. Mac version is also not made available on the primary alpha build.
While Blizzard has not announced a launch date yet, Legion is expected to release on September 2016. Pre-purchases for Legion is now open through Blizzard's online store where users will receive one character's free level 100 boost that can be redeemed right away when they pre-purchase the expansion pack.
Upon the first public build of the expansion went online, Kotaku have noted the new animal forms of Druid which they think is gorgeous. The said forms will still be changed accordingly due to tons of Artifact Weapons in the game. The report also showed some highlights of the Druid's forms.
Blizzard previously mentioned that a beta test will run before the end of 2015. While waiting for it, gamers make the most out of the World Of Warcraft: Legion's alpha test.
