Latest screenshots of the upcoming "One Piece: Burning Blood" show new characters and maps in the game. Bandai Namco got fans' attention by releasing screenshots and information of the popular pirate-themed game.
Design & Trend reported that the new images unveil Roronoa Zoro, Franky Shogun, Kuzan, and X-Drake. Brand new maps like Alabasta, Skypea and Drum Drum Island that will also be available in the game were also revealed.
Saiyan Island shared several images of the fighting game where one pictures Zoro and his three-sword style together with Luffy as they fight against Kuzan in Dressrosa's Coliseum. X-Drake can be seen using his Ancient Dinosaur style in fighting with Franky Shogun who uses his laser beam.
A total of thirteen characters were confirmed for One Piece: Burning Blood, said Game Spot. These characters include Monkey D. Luffy, Monkey D. Luffy (2 years later), Franky, Portgas D. Ace, Roronoa Zoro, Trafalgar Law, Sabo, Bartolomeo, Crocodile, Eneru, Doflamingo, Smoker, Donquixote, Aokiji, and X. Drake
The report confirmed that the players can create their own team where they can use three characters and swap them to achieve tactical advantages. Selected characters will have the ability to use special techniques called Logia Moves.
Users can also perform Logia Guard for temporary immunity in battling physical attacks in "One Piece: Burning Blood." The Devil Fruits, just like in the manga, can help the characters carry out reinforced and unique special attacks.
The official announcement of One Piece: Burning Blood was made earlier this year at Tokyo Game Show. Among the other fighting games launched by Spike Chunsoft also include J-Stars Victory VS+.
While the game still does not have a release date as of now, many expect the game to arrive next year. The recently shared screenshots of the characters and maps on One Piece: Burning Blood surely excite many fans.
