Total War: Warhammer trailer focuses on Grimgor Ironhide and campaign map; Night Goblins as sinister creatures in the game

Sega just released a trailer for the upcoming Total War: Warhammer which highlights Grimgor Ironhide and the game's campaign.

PC Gamer said that the trailer showcases the infamous Grimgor Ironhide who is featured in the beginning of the cinematic with his famous question, "Who's next?"

Aside from the Warboss Ironhid, the trailer also focuses on the different cities and terrain each player may aspire to conquer -- "from the Badlands in the south to the Chaos Wastes in the North," says the Youtube description of the trailer. From snow to volcanic lava, there is plenty of settings for battles between Humans, Vampire Counts, and Dwarves.

The report also mentioned that the trailer is an "in-engine cinematic" which was explained by Creative Assembly as a technology that "uses Development in Progress in-game assets and code as a basis for a video shot with cinematic camera techniques to create movie-like footage." This is considered as a representative of the game's general look and feel but it is still far from the direct in-game experience a player can get when playing the final game.

Two major parts made up the Total War games, said Euro Gamer. The first part is the battles where armies crush each other and the second part is a strategical campaign map where pieces that represent armies or special characters.

It is also noted that at 1 minute 29 seconds, the trailer reveals the mountainous and misty game's campaign map. Furthermore, additional shots of the campaign map can be seen at 1.42 and 2.02. The Creative Assembly and Total War: Warhammer announced a complete campaign walkthrough video to be released next week.

In another report from VG247, Total War: Warhammer fans can also expect to meet the Night Goblins in the game. These goblins cultivate and harvest different fungi to advance their evil plans.

Total War: Warhammer fans will wait until April 28, 2016 to fully experience the game. Some fans are requesting to see more from Total War: Warhammer aside from Ironhide and the campaign map.
