As Street Fighter 5 is still one title that is yet to reach the shores, Capcom still has ample time to fix the game, rectify some wrongs and point out some that may be good or bad for the series. Recent good news for the game have been disclosed, but a notable downside for the title has been brought to Capcom's attention.
According to Event Hubs, Street Fighter 5 has its share of many attributes that make it interesting as early as now. Clips of Rashid's front flip being seemingly expanded in terms of range were seen, as well as Vega's mix-ups around corners. Even a photo of a custom-made fighting stick with the design of Rainbow Mika otherwise known as R. Mika has gone viral all over the web, and these can only mean that Street Fighter 5 and news related to it are actually staying on the right track.
But while at the topic of R. Mika and good news, Game Spot reported that Street Fighter 5 is not entirely received positively by all. The Entertainment Software Ratings Board spoke out some concerns regarding the over-sexualized visuals of the female characters and Capcom was quick to address the scenario and toned down some of these factors. R. Mika's butt-slap animation was immediately concealed through a re-aligning of the camera angle as well as Cammy's somewhat unnecessarily exposed crotch when she enters the frame.
VG247 delivered that due to these factors, Capcom feels that some fans may not like the idea of such changes being applied to all as not every female character has an over-sexualizing of the same degree. This is apparent as soon as the gamers saw the changes, and as some may agree that this will be more ideal especially for a younger audience, some players simply just do not see the point of it.
Capcom's Street Fighter 5 has been noted to unleash time-release characters for the coming months after its release next year. Stay tuned for further updates on the long-running fighting game by Capcom.
