After more than a month of waiting, fans of Super Smash Bros. 4 will finally get fresh release details on Cloud Strife DLC. The game's final streaming is confirmed to take place on Nintendo Direct this Tuesday, Dec. 15. Also, an announcement of the Smash Ballot characters voted by fans during Nintendo's special promo which ended in October might be happening.
Super Smash Bros. 4 creator Masahiro Sakurai has officially announced that fresh news on Cloud Strife DLC will be given in this month's Nintendo Direct during his interview surrounding the issue on the need to patch games via Japan's Weekly Famitsu as translated in English by Source Gaming. Sakurai was quoted revealing to expecting fans, "Cloud will be joining the fray! I'll explain more in the special December presentation."
It is anticipated that during the special December Nintendo Direct, gamers will find out about how much dollars they'll need to shell out for Cloud Strife DLC and most especially, its official release date. As noted, Nintendo traditionally offers its fan base with surprise treats to love just right after the streaming of the event concludes.
Such is the most awaited reveal from Nintendo as to who is the winning character of Smash Ballot which ended in October. As reported earlier, it was leaked that there will be addition of three new characters and stages based on data mining from the game's last update. It remains unclear, however, if Cloud Strife counts as one the 3 fighters and that could mean 2 more will be added, Design & Trend wrote.
Despite that Yacht Games denied rumors of Shovel Knight coming to join the brawl, fans still hope that it could be possible as Shovel Knight is confirmed to get his own Amiibo. In previous reports, other top fan voted characters include King K. Rool and Dixie Kong from Donkey Kong Country, Isaac from Golden Sun, Ridley from Metroid, and Inklings from Splatoon.
