Following up to the recent release of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL handsets, Microsoft is planning and developing plans for the Lumia 1050 this upcoming 2016. Insider can expect the phone by first quarter, probably by January or February.
According to JBH News, Insiders could be seeing a Lumia 1050 by the time February 2016 hits. That's if the company does not see any more problems with the Lumia 950 and 950 XL.
The Windows handsets' launch have brought in a flurry of controversy following issues in availability and function. Upon launch, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL were made exclusive to AT&T lines, giving people the assumption that Verizon and T-Mobile were not interested in carrying Microsoft's latest smartphones. However, a recent report has indicated that Microsoft did not make efforts to reach out to Verizon, according to WinBeta.
The Microsoft Lumia 1050 is tipped to sport a 64 Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, a Type-C USB Port and a new cloud storage. RAM is expected to be 4GB with its provided Snapdragon processor and will have 128GB in internal built-in storage. The 1050 will be the prime of the 10++ line by Microsoft's in-house handset building team, and could very well be the best Lumia phone to date.

In other news, the 5.7 inch Microsoft Lumia 950 XL got another launch price cut in the United Kingdom and is now available for only £464.99 (£65 cheaper than the original price of £529.99) and can be ordered on Amazon. The Lumia 950 remains to be available at £419.99.
The Lumia 950 XL packs 515 pixels per inch screen density, a quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. It also comes with a a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 3,340mAh battery and a microSD card slot.
