Samsung Galaxy A5, A7 (2016) Receive FCC Certification; Release Expected Soon

Samsung Electronics will be unveiling two smartphones, the Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 version. Both of these handsets have been recently certified by the Federal Communications Commission, indicating that the release is forthcoming.

According to Vine Report, the Samsung Galaxy A5 is believed to be sport the same display resolution as that of its predecessor. Based on the previous rumors about the device, the 2016 version will have a 5-inch to 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 720p HD..

Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 version is also rumored to come with an octa-core Exynos chipset, a 2 GB worth of RAM, along with 16GB worth of built-in internal storage capacity. As for the camera, it will be armed with a 13-megapixel main rear-facing snapper that will be coupled with a 5-megapixel front shooter.

With the FCC certification, it was also revealed that the upcoming Galaxy A5 2016 will house a 2,900 mAh in capacity battery It was noted that the original Galaxy A5 smartphone only had a 2,300mAh battery, which means that the new version has 600mAh more power. Lastly, just like the other Galaxy A series, the A5 2016 version will be arriving with an all-metal body.

On the other hand, Christian Today stated some of the features and specs that the Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 version might sport. The device's measurements (151.5 × 73.95 × 6.95mm) suggest that it will be narrower than its predecessor. It will sport a 5.5-inch display with a slightly bulkier construction due to a hue 3,300 mAh battery that would keep the lights on the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016).

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is speculated to feature an AMOLED display with a 1080 resolution. Under the chassis, this handset is reportedly engineered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and packed with a 3 GB RAM. It will be armed with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies. The A7 2016 version is tipped to have Android 5.1.1 Lollipop pre-installed.

Furthermore, Phone Arena added the Samsung's second batch of A-series phones may be launched very soon. This was based on recent barrage of leaks, tips and benchmark database. It was also reported that most of the 2016 editions of the Galaxy A3, A5, A7 and A8 already appeared in various databases, and some purported new entrants, just like the Galaxy A9, have even made to the rumor mill.

With the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 version getting the Federal Communications Commission certification, its release might indeed be nearing. If not, at least some further annoucements about its launch may hopefully be given soon.
