Marriage woes surround the latest "Real Housewives of Atlanta" episode as power couple Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas decide on the fate of their partnership with Cynthia receiving some encouragement from a past acquaintance.
After ten long days on not being in the same home, "RHOA" power couple Cynthia and Peter finally had the talk and it didn't go as well as we expected. In their heated discussion, the supermodel-actress pointed out that she does not feel any connection or spark between them anymore, People reports.
"I don't know. It's been a lot of different things. Sometimes I don't even feel like we are compatible," Bailey said.
However, Peter remains steadfast to their marriage saying that when they decided to hit it off, there was no other reason to turn back on each other when things don't seem to go their way.
"When you fall as deep as we fell for each other and decided that we wanted to be with each other, there's no back door," Thomas responds.
According to The Daily Mail, the popular couple has been marred with a lot of controversies including the scandalous video where Thomas was seen canoodling with another woman during a party. Despite this, Bailey and Thomas remained together but with the strings of other issues springing up, Cynthia may have reached an impasse.
Things took on a more positive note when Peter confessed that despite Cynthia that way, he has never lost any love for his wife. With this teary-eyed confession, Cynthia was convinced to give the marriage one last shot. However, the "RHOA" star left a warning that if this doesn't go well, it's time to call it quits.
"If it's not working, we're not going to be together. We're going to go our separate ways," Cynthia added.
Cynthia's change of heart may also be because of some sound advice that she received earlier on in the show, US Magazine reports. While the star was trying to figure out plans for her daughter Noelle's celebrity career, she was able to open up her marriage troubles to actor Leon Robinson, her former lover and Noelle's dad.
"If you exhaust every other option and it's not working for you, and it's not working for him, then that's when you part ways, but I think it's worth fighting for. If you fight for it and you don't win the fight, then you're right. You walk away," Leon tells Cynthia.
With such inspiring marriage advice and the drive to make things work, fans hope that the Cynthia-Peter tandem continues to sail in a good note. Catch more drama from the "Real Housewives of Atlanta", Sundays 8:00 p.m on Bravo.
