The massive online battle arena League of Legends recently added the new loot and crafting system as part of the coming changes. Also in the news is the victory of CIS in the International Wild Card All-Stars Events while Choi Gaming is heading its way to the 7th e-Sports World Championships.
The new looting and crafting systems introduced by League of Legends as reward for players who complete their matches as long as they conduct themselves appropriately, The Verge pointed out. The new systems are part of the biggest update coming next year.
Riot Games emphasized that players cannot get loot if players show toxic behaviors within LoL, the site wrote. Lead designer Jeffrey Lin described the plans "to encourage friendly communications and play."
Meanwhile, the League of Legends International Wild Card All-Stars happened in Melbourne, Australia and was participated by teams from Turkey, Russia, Japan, Brazil, South East Asia, Latin America, and Oceania, a report according to Game Spot. The professional e-Sports teams contended for the spot at the 2015 All-Star Event in Los Angeles.
With the teams vying for the spot, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) team secured its victory by leading 10 points picking its way out over Turkey. Mykhailo "Kira" Harmash lead the team's success when he won the 1v1 grand final and gained 100 points, the site added.
Game Spot stated that the All Star Event is slated in December 10 to 13 this year at the North America League of Legends World Championship Studio located in Los Angeles.
The Philippines is also sending its contingents to the 7th e-Sports World Championships in Korea this December 2 to 5 to compete with other teams from 40 countries, said Esports Inquirer.
Choi Gaming also known as Choisted Tyrants (as their moniker) includes Isaiah Cyrus "Terrarus" Majam, Hansel "Kidgart" Hermosisima, Gio Niño "Gioza" Mendoza, Mohammad "Evoker" Alsughayer and Syvert Lyndon "Donnat" Tan, the site added.
With so much activities within the community, no wonder the League of Legends become a legend in itself.
